Synopsis of Braid

The storyline of the film revolves around Petula Thames and Tilda Darlings, two self-proclaimed artists. It tells the story of the two who moved to New York to pursue their dreams, but instead became involved in drug dealing and prostitution. One night, they unfortunately lose $80,000 worth of drugs, and the drug lord who lost the drugs gives them 48 hours to repay the money. The two girls then plot to rob their wealthy childhood friend Daphne Peters, who has developed schizophrenia and agoraphobia and is trapped in the dangerous fantasy world they created as children. To get close to Daphne, Tilda and Petula have to take part in Daphne's twisted and violent game of pretend. The three of them are soon trapped in a deadly maze of hallucinations, role-playing, torture and murder.
