Synopsis of The Place

Axel, a kind-hearted but rebellious high school student, almost made a big mistake. He and his gang almost beat a neighbor to death, and Axel took the blame alone because he was drunk and high. He was sentenced to serve his sentence in Iceland's most notorious youth prison, The Place. Rapes are common there - and prison bosses believe this is the best way to make young offenders repent. Axel is about to be cornered, and his only hope is to find a mobile phone at the scene of the incident...
