Synopsis of Re-Animator

At Misktonik Medical School in Sweden, young student Ken (played by Bruce Abbott) and the dean's daughter Megan (played by Barbara Crampton) secretly fell in love, and the two made an appointment to officially get married after Ken graduated. Soon, the genius doctor Herbert West (Jeffrey Combs) returned from Australia. While in Australia, he and another scientist studied a drug that could resurrect the dead. However, the side effect of the drug was that people who were resurrected lost their minds and became insane. His research partner died in an accident. West found Ken's apartment and wanted to share it with him. He never forgets the research on resurrection drugs and enlists Ken's help. However, the dean of the medical school banned relevant research because of West's accident in Australia, which eventually led to a tragedy. On the other hand, Professor Hill (David Gale), who is in tit-for-tat with West, also covets this amazing research...
