Synopsis of Macabre
Adige (Ario Bayu) had just held their wedding to Astrid (Sigi Wimala). After that, the two decided to take their friends on a road trip, which also included a trip with Adige. Adige hopes to ease the awkward relationship between himself and his sister Radia (Julie Estelle) through this journey. On the way, the group of people met a girl named Maya (played by Imelda Therinne). The girl claimed that she had been robbed and begged Adige and his group to drive her to her home deep in the forest. At Maya's home, Adige met Maya's mother Dara (played by Shareefa Daanish). This dignified and elegant old woman exuded a strange aura. At Maya's warm invitation, everyone decided to stay and have dinner with them.
