Synopsis of Smallville Season 8
Season eight begins a few weeks after the Fortress' icy collapse, as a LutherCorp arctic excavation team investigates Lex's whereabouts. At the same time, members of the Justice League, including Green Arrow, Black Canary and Aquaman, also united again to search for Clark, who lost his power due to the collapse of the castle. As the series unfolds, Clark's new job at DailyPlanet will mean traveling across the world with Lois. These two people will also form a team to protect the peace of the metropolis.
