Synopsis of The Ringer

Steve Buck (played by Johnny Nashville) is a kind-hearted good old man who lives an unchanged life and does boring copywriting work diligently, until an accident changes his life and original beliefs. One day, Steve finally plucked up the courage to ask his boss for a promotion. Unexpectedly, he was approved, but there was one condition - he had to fire Stawe, the company's long-standing janitor. In order to ease the conflict and appease Stawi's anger, Steve decided to hire him himself. But at this moment, Stawi lost several fingers due to a serious accident. He had no insurance and faced huge medical expenses. In order to keep Stawi's finger, Steve must collect a large amount of cash in a short period of time. At this time, he thought of his hypocritical uncle Gary (played by Brian Cox), but when he came to the door, he found that Gary was still worried about his gambling debts. Steve was so anxious that he had to come up with a crazy crooked idea - pretending to be a mentally retarded person to participate in the Paralympic Games! ! In this way, you can get a considerable bonus. The biggest opponent he will face is a pentathlete who has won six gold medals...
