Synopsis of Moscow on the Hudson

Frandy Mir (Robin Williams) is a saxophone player in the Moscow circus. Although he lives happily in Moscow with his family and friends, he is still a little depressed. One day, he toured New York with the circus. He was quickly attracted by the colorful life in the metropolis. So when he went shopping with the troupe members at the largest department store in New York, he suddenly announced his surrender in the department store. The kind-hearted black guard took in Frandimir. As the days passed, he discovered that the process of transforming from a Soviet citizen to an American citizen was not as easy as he imagined. It was sometimes very painful and lonely. Fortunately, with the help of his friends, Frandimir found a job as a saxophone player in Brighton Beach, and realized his American dream step by step.
