Synopsis of Captive

Ashley Smith (played by Kate Mara), a single mother who is addicted to drugs, is taken hostage in her home by a black man named Brian Nichols (played by David Oyelowo) who suddenly breaks in. , Brian was a fugitive who escaped from prison and the police also believed that he killed the judge who was reviewing his case. However, this experience of hijacking and being hijacked ultimately allowed them to save each other's lives. This film is adapted from "The Accidental Angel", written by Ashley Smith based on his personal experience.
