Synopsis of The Almost Man

Henrik, who is plain-looking and in his prime, is going to be a father, but he still wants to maintain the illusion of youth, acting recklessly and evading responsibility as an incompetent father. However, his incompetence and banter sarcastically mask his insecurity and desire to escape the world around him. The film is mixed with the bitterness of life, and won two awards for Best Film and Best Actor at the 2012 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival for its authenticity and vivid performances of the actors.
