Synopsis of Religulous

"Faith is a virtue that does not require thinking" American movie star and talk show host Bill Maher led a camera crew to visit holy places and representative figures of different religions such as Catholicism, Christianity, Mormonism, Scientology, Marijuanaism, Jews, and Muslims, quoting those interviewed Religious teachings and anecdotes "blamed" and "attacked" the interviewees. Through witty and cunning confrontations, the selfish desires and absurdities hidden behind the religious cloak were slowly revealed. The film uses Bill's words to explain the absurdities and misunderstandings existing in various religions today, as well as the irreversible consequences caused by them... This film won the 2008 Film Trailer Award for Best Documentary Poster.
