Synopsis of The Grifters

On the surface, Roy (played by John Cusack) and Myra (played by Annette Bening) are a loving couple, but in fact, their true identities are professional liars. After years of wandering around the world, Roy and Myra have never failed. Roy's mother Lily (played by Anjelica Huston) is also a "professional player" with superb deception skills. She watched her son step by step on the path of his past, and she felt very complicated. Myra hopes to join hands with Roy to make a big deal, but Roy refuses.
