Synopsis of Defiance Season 2

In the near future, after the destruction of the Wotan Planet, the Wotan people, composed of seven races, came to the earth to seek help, hoping to make their home here. The Earth Government held negotiations with the Wotan people for about six years and eventually rejected their request. Wortan people do not want to leave, the war broke out. The earth's artillery shot down the Wotan people's spacecraft, but they did not know that these spacecraft were loaded with earth-making machines. This technologically advanced super machine not only completely changed the shape of the earth's surface, but also caused the earth's temperature to rise sharply, cracked the ground, and reduced all human buildings to ashes and debris. The war lasted for nine years. Both warring parties were unable to eliminate each other and had to sit down and negotiate. They soon realized that the earth had become a completely different planet from the original. Only by shelving disputes and joint development could both parties survive. However, some forces are trying to establish a new social order here...
