Synopsis of Dragon Tiger Gate

This film is adapted from Huang Yulang's comic book of the same name. Brothers Wang Jianglong (played by Yuan Hua) and Wang Fuhu, who came from a martial arts family, founded the Dragon and Tiger Gate to teach martial arts and support justice in order to prevent the grassroots from being bullied. Wang Xiaolong (played by Donnie Yen) and Wang Xiaohu (played by Nicholas Tse) are a pair of half-brothers from Wang Fu's knees. Xiaolong was taken away from the Dragon and Tiger Gate by his mother when he was a child. A dragon-shaped jade pendant and Xiaohu's tiger-shaped jade pendant were left beside him. Xiaolong had a bad fate. After his mother died, he was adopted by gangster Ma Kun (played by Chen Guantai). Xiaolong rescued Rakshasa Girl (played by Li Xiaoran) who later became the subordinate of Fire Cloud Evil God, and became the love of her life. Time flies, young Wang Xiaohu and his juniors accidentally get involved in the dispute between Ma Kun and the White Lion Gang, and receive the Rakshasa Order given to Ma Kun by the Fire Cloud Evil God. Wang Xiaolong retrieved the Rakshasa Order for Ma Kun, but because he could not tolerate the despicable behavior of Ma Kun's men, he started fighting with the opponent. During the melee, Wang Xiaohu was helped by Shi Heilong (Shawn Yue), a young martial arts enthusiast. Wang Xiaohu met Ma Kun's daughter Ma Xiaoling (played by Dong Jie) and got acquainted. Shi Heilong also worshiped Wang Jiang's Dragon Gate as he wished. On the other hand, Ma Kun wanted to withdraw from the arena but angered the Fire Cloud Evil God.
