Synopsis of Black Bread

The Spanish Civil War had just ended and it was a difficult period of post-war trauma. In the Catalan countryside, Andrew (Francesco Colomer), a boy who belongs to the failed camp, discovers the bodies of a father and son in the jungle. However, the authorities actually put the charge on Andrew's father Farrior (Roger Casamajor), making him an innocent scapegoat. Andrew decided to act alone to find the real murderer of the father and son and reveal the truth. Along the way, Andrew traced the various conspiracies and lies in the adult world, allowing young Andrew to see this twisted world clearly.
