Synopsis of Saving Face
The young doctor Wil (Yang Yahui) is a Chinese-American. She has a successful career and works hard, but she just doesn't like dressing up or making boyfriends, which makes her mother (played by Chen Chong) very worried. The mother deliberately dragged her daughter to gatherings in some Chinese circles to help her find a partner, but she always found nothing.
