Synopsis of Doomsday Party
In a society where real estate hegemony, collusion between officials and businessmen, and the disparity between rich and poor have become the main theme, some people choose to remain silent, while others insist on fighting. Lang (Guan Chuyao), a dropout master's student, threatens to rob a bank with a bomb, intending to accuse society of robbing the rich and giving to the poor. Unexpectedly, the exit was accidentally blown up, and Lang and the hostages--the police detective Jianhao (played by Huang Guanzhong) whose career has been halted due to eye disease, the bank employee Yunyi (Xie Anqi) who hides her integrity in the workplace and love life, and the infatuated and mismatched divorced lady Rebecca. (played by Chen Meiqi) and Uncle De (played by Teddy Robin), a retired teacher who is tireless in teaching but has been eliminated by the times, are trapped in a bank that looks like a secret room.
