Synopsis of The Insider

Raoel Bergman (played by Al Pacino) is the ace producer of CBS's "60 Minutes" program and has always collaborated with the respected host Mike Wallace (played by Christopher Plummer). Infinitely. Geoffrey Wiegand (Russell Crowe) has just been fired from Big Tobacco, and his life seems to have hit rock bottom instantly. Bergman received a report showing that cigarettes manufactured by tobacco companies were harmful to humans and approached Wiegand to translate it.
