Synopsis of Wild China

From the brightly lit metropolises to the sparsely populated mountains and old forests; from the vast expanse of prairie to the inaccessible desert Gobi; from the snow-covered high-altitude mountains to the endless plains; from the vast land to the blue sea and blue sky...China , this ancient and magical land contains a variety of unique landforms, nurturing children of all ethnic groups, and also breeds all kinds of rare beasts, exotic flowers and plants. This time, through the lens, we went to visit the beautiful wonders scattered across this land. Along the Yangtze River Basin, you can see the strange rocks and strange forests created by the karst landforms; go to the tropical rain forests of Yunnan to look for Asian wild elephants and Yunnan golden monkeys; come to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, rush to the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, climb the mountains, and look at the western frontier. Here is a beautiful China that is familiar yet unfamiliar to you and me. This film is the first joint production by CCTV and the BBC. It took 4 years to shoot and used advanced photography technologies such as aerial photography, infrared, high-speed, time-lapse and underwater photography. There are six episodes in total, namely "Rich South China", "South of Colorful Clouds", "Qinghai-Tibet Plateau", "Beyond the Great Wall", "Dragon's Domain" and "Noisy Coast".
