Synopsis of Demon
The groom-to-be from the UK is preparing to hold a traditional wedding in Poland, his fiancée’s hometown. On the eve of the wedding, he received a villa as a gift. When he was happily digging in the yard to prepare a new look for their future home, he accidentally dug up a white skeleton. On the day of the wedding, the lively banquet lasted from day to night, and during the drinking and drinking, the groom began to lose his composure and speak fluent Yiddish. His father-in-law was worried that he had epilepsy, his brother-in-law thought he was pretending to be crazy through drinking, and there was a jealous man who kept provoking him. While the bride was anxious, an old man discovered that the ghost possessing the groom was actually a woman he knew. The situation became even more confusing and strange... Polish director Marcin Rona tells the Jewish legend from a modern perspective. It is scary that the groom is possessed by a demon, but the crazy obsession of everyone trying to whitewash the peace is more like the appearance of an evil spirit. Handsome Israeli guy Itai Tillon plays the role of the groom-to-be from a dashing tomboy to a man with two souls, tortured to the point of completely losing control. The tragic news that the director's body was found in a hotel before the film's premiere in Poland made this story about a curse even more bizarre.
