Synopsis of The X-Files Season 8

Mulder (David Duchovny) was abducted by alien rebels, and Scully (Gillian Anderson) also found out that she was pregnant. Mulder's office was raided, and Scully asked Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) to help find a partner, and the Lone Gunman also participated. The FBI's top brass sent Agent John Doggett (Robert Patrick) to assist in the investigation, but the first meeting between the two men broke up. The Bureau of Investigation found that Mulder's work password and credit card had usage records in the days after his disappearance, and even found a tombstone engraved with the dates of Mulder's birth and death. Doggett believes Mulder faked his disappearance so he could steal information and investigate on his own. The case becomes more complicated and confusing...
