Synopsis of The Bay

Sebastian National Park is in a seaside town called Claridge in Maryland, USA. People live leisurely and enjoy the gifts of the Creator. But one day, two divers died unexpectedly. Their deaths were horrific, triggering panic in the town and causing government and scientific researchers to investigate and pay attention to local water quality. Some people have criticized local chicken farms for unscrupulously discharging chicken manure into the sea, while others have vowed that economy and environmental protection go hand in hand. But it seems that at a certain point in time, mysterious infections broke out on a large scale. Many people's bodies were covered with herpes wounds and ringworm, and the hospitals were overcrowded. Not long after, mass deaths broke out, and many infected people showed strange and terrifying behaviors. The video materials related to this incident were blocked by the government, and news reporter Donna Thompson (Kether Donohue) served as the narrator of the incident... The film won second place in the Audience Choice Award at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.
