Synopsis of The Blue Max
In 1918, when the German army was in a tense war on the British-French front, Lieutenant Shtacher, who graduated from the 104th Flight School and had only two years of army experience, came to Captain Willy's flying squadron. Although he came from a humble background, he valued honor above life and shot down a British aircraft during his first attack mission. However, the downed aircraft was not confirmed by the Army. Shtaher's first achievement was met with criticism, including threats. All team members, including Lee, were suspicious. The real grudge between him and Willy occurred when Shtahel made an emergency landing on a British fighter jet and shot and killed the wingman shooter who tried to resist. However, Willy accused him of using bloody methods to deal with the helpless enemy. Captain Willy was in trouble with Shtaher, but it was actually out of jealousy that Shtaher was so close to his own military exploits. But Shtacher's military exploits did not stop because of Willy's jealousy.
