Synopsis of September

1968, a remote farm in Australia. Ed (Xavier Samuel), the son of a white farmer, and Paddy (Clarence John Ryan), the son of a black servant, have been good friends since childhood. But at that time, racial discrimination was still very serious, and black people did not have the right to receive education. Paddy could only look forward to his friends after school every day and ask about the situation in the school. In September, a boxing club will come here. Two friends set up a boxing ring and competed and played in their free time. However, no matter how pure this friendship is, Ed has to endure the pressure from society and friends.
