Synopsis of Riverworld

War reporter Matt Elman (played by Tahmoh Penikett_dollhouse) ended his dangerous life for many years in the rain of bullets and decided to choose a quiet life. At a rave party in Singapore, Matt planned to woo his girlfriend Jesse McCullan (Laura Vandervoort), but suffered a sudden tragedy. Both of them died in an explosion caused by a suicide bomb. middle. After an unknown amount of time, Matt woke up again and found that he was in a strange space. Passing through a fast-flowing river, he met many people who died in the explosion, many of whom were old and had regained their youthful appearance. After a brief period of surprise, Matt was determined to find the missing Jesse. During the ensuing mysterious journey, he encountered countless strange things and met many famous figures in history. In the process, the truth gradually emerged... The film is adapted from the novel of the same name and was made into a four-part mini-series by the Sci-Fi Channel.
