Synopsis of Mektoub, My Love: Canto Uno

Amin, a young man living in Paris, was addicted to movies. After giving up studying medicine, he returned to his hometown in the south of France for vacation. He was born into an Arab family that ran a Tunisian restaurant. He and his cousin Tony spent the day hanging out in their restaurant, nearby bars, and the beach on the edge of town, enjoying the beautiful summer day. They met two girls from Nice, Charlotte and ysgou.ccCeline. Local and out-of-town girls have turned to the cousins one after another. Tony lingers among flowers, but Amin has always been deeply in love with his long-time friend Ophelia who is about to get married. Ophelia's fiancé works at the airport in Paris, and the relationship between the two is neither salty nor cold. But as soon as he returned home, Amin discovered Ophelia's affair with her cousin Tony.
