The Connection La French

Synopsis of The Connection

This is a film based on real events and real people. The story takes place in Marseille in the 1970s and 1980s. Jean Dujardin plays police officer Pierremy Schell, who has been tracking down the largest local drug trafficking organization in Marseille for several years. This organization transported drugs from Turkey to the United States via France, thus providing a large supply of goods for the U.S. drug market. The 1971 film "The French Cartel" directed by Hollywood director William Friedkin was set against the same background.
