Deepsea Challenge 3D

Synopsis of Deepsea Challenge 3D

The film records the entire process of James Cameron's successful descent into the Mariana Trench, the deepest part of the world's oceans, in his single-man deep submersible, the Deepsea Challenger. Cameron dived to a depth of 35,756 feet (approximately 10,898 meters) - the unparalleled depth limit in the world's oceans. In this documentary film, the story behind the development of deep submersibles is also told. Cameron stayed on the 10,000-meter seabed for six hours and recorded it with a high-definition 3D camera. His other dozen or so dives to warm up for this dive will also be edited into this 90-minute 3D documentary.
