Synopsis of Atonement

In the summer of 1935, Briony (played by Oriz Ronan), a 13-year-old girl from a well-off British family, has just begun to try writing and has a rich imagination. One day, she secretly discovered that there was an affair between the servant's son Robbie Turner (played by James McEvoy) and her sister Cecilia (played by Kate Knightley), and found that he had written to her An erotic love letter. Briony's rich imagination imagined all kinds of terrible things. No one can understand her behavior, only she knows that she carries huge secrets and self-blame. She plucked up the courage to unlock the secret, so that she could truly atone for her sins and be forgiven. However, things changed beyond Briony's budget.
