Synopsis of Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror
"The Sound of Terror" (1942) is adapted from the story of "Final Bow" by Conan Doyle. It is the first Sherlock Holmes series to bring the protagonist detective Watson into the terrible Nazi conspiracy. When someone warns that Nazi saboteurs will invade the British Isles by using their radios to send out a terrifying sound, British Intelligence says Holmes will help in the nick of time. On the first night of the investigation, Holmes and Watson found a dying man. His last words brought Holmes to the dilapidated Limehouse neighborhood of London. There, with the help of Kitty, the lover of the slain man, he identifies the saboteurs. As the voice of terror has the potential to wreak new havoc, Holmes and Watson must solve the difficult problem of this complex terrorist and espionage organization as soon as possible and completely solve the problem.
