Synopsis of Athlete A

"Whistleblower: Tracking the USA Gymnastics Sexual Assault Scandal" follows reporters from the Indianapolis Star as they investigate sexual assault allegations at one of the nation's most prominent Olympic organizations, USA Gymnastics. Two years later, an Olympic doctor was jailed, the U.S. Congress began to pursue accountability, and hundreds of people who witnessed the incident spoke out. This shocking and uplifting film exposes the brutal undercurrents of elite gymnastics, while documenting the lawyers who battle the establishment and, most importantly, the courageous whistleblowers who refuse to remain silent. They fought the system and won.
