Synopsis of The Wackness

The story takes place in New York in 1994. Like most rebellious youths, the relationship between Luke (Josh Peck) and his family has dropped to a freezing point. With nothing to do, he wanders the streets all day long, selling marijuana. Make some pocket money. Like most psychiatrists, Squires (Ben Kingsley) himself has a lot of troubles that are constantly being cut out and messed up. The only link between him and Luke is marijuana-Squires is Luke provides psychotherapy, and Luke repays him with marijuana. As time went by, a wonderful trust and friendship developed between Luke and Squires. Luke has always had a crush on his classmate Stephanie (Olivia Thirlby). At the same time, the cheerful and optimistic Stephanie also has a soft spot for Luke. What Luke didn't expect was that Stephanie's unrelated father was none other than his "regular customer" Squires, and a chaotic relationship with laughter and tears began.
