Synopsis of COPPELION

In the near future, Tokyo, which was once bustling and bustling, has turned into a dead city due to a nuclear power plant incident, and has been dubbed the world's largest ghost city. However, even in this dead ruin, there are still people who are lucky enough to linger here. In 20XX, three girls without any radiation protection equipment appeared in old Tokyo. Their names are Naruse Kei (voiced by Tomatsu Haruka), Fukasaku Aoi (voiced by Hanazawa Kana), and Nomura Taeko (voiced by Akesaka Satomi). They are girls born through genetic modification with the ability to resist radiation, collectively known as "COPPELION" . Under the command of the instructor of the National Defense University Affiliated Special Engineering School Mishima Ghost Soldier Rikusa (voiced by Oyama Rikiya), the girls searched for survivors everywhere. Unprecedented experiences and feelings followed one after another. What did the girls feel... This film is adapted from the original manga by Tomoku Inoue. The surnames of the girls in COPPELION are all from famous Japanese directors, while the surnames of ordinary people are from Japanese writers.
