Synopsis of The Others

After World War II, Grace (Nicole Kidman) raised a pair of children alone on a small British island, patiently waiting for her husband to return from the war. Children are afraid of light and will get sick when exposed to light, so the curtains at home are kept tightly closed all year round. In such a dark old house, Grace welcomed three new servants. After the arrival of these three people, Grace was chilled - the curtains were often pulled open, the door opened for no reason, the piano sounded automatically, and her daughter said that strange men could often be seen in the room. Grace fell into a state of mental stress. She didn't understand why strange things happened frequently, and she didn't understand why her husband didn't return. And she finally realized that all the panic actually came from herself, but things were irreversible...
