Synopsis of Son of Rambow

Will (played by Bill Milner) is a lonely, good boy. He is strictly controlled by his family and has few friends. His entertainment is strictly restricted due to religious reasons, so he can only pass the time by drawing. By chance, Will meets Carter (played by Will Poulter), a "problem student" in school, and takes Will into a new world. Carter shows him TV for the first time and leads him to do evil. He also asked him to help make a short film to fulfill his dream of being a director.
