Synopsis of All the Right Moves

The story takes place in a small town in western Pennsylvania. Steve (played by Tom Cruise) is a boy who attends a high school in the town. He is particularly talented in rugby. Steve's biggest dream is to get a football scholarship and use the money to leave this closed and conservative town and go out to find a new and vast world. Nickerson (Craig T. Nelson) is the coach of the school football team, and he also sees Steve's talent. Like Steve, Nickerson also longed for the opportunity to get out of the small town through the school team he coached. Although the general direction is the same, collisions and frictions will inevitably occur between a group of hot-blooded boys. How should Nickerson reconcile these contradictions?
