Synopsis of Bug

Barmaid Aggie (Ashley Judd) has been troubled by unexplained phone calls recently, while her husband Jerry (Harry Connick, Jr.), who had a domestic violence record, was recently released from prison. Kat worries. Aggie's gay lover RC introduced a new man, Peter (Michael Shannon), to her. Peter was a little shy and a little weird, but he gained Aggie's trust and provided a sofa for Peter to sleep on that night. The next day, Jerry came to visit, beat Aggie and humiliated Peter before leaving. Aggie and Peter revealed each other's secrets. Aggie had lost his youngest son, and Peter had been raped while serving in the army. Selected as the subject of the experiment, he escaped in order to get rid of the painful experiment... The two helpless people lived together, but Peter suspected that there were bugs left by the experiment in his blood, and this fear troubled them, causing the situation to get out of control...
