Synopsis of The Man Who Cried

The little Jewish girl "Fei Ying'er" lives with her father and grandmother in a small village in Russia. To make a living, her father went to the United States in the hope of continuing his singing career. The village was looted shortly after her father left. Fei Ying'er escaped with the two boys. When they were about to board the ship to the United States, she got separated from them and boarded the cruise ship to England. But luckily a couple adopted her and renamed her Susie.
