Synopsis of Hairspray

Fat girl Tracy (Nicole Blonsky) grew up in an ordinary American family in the 1960s. She became obsessed with a dance talent show on TV and dreamed of standing on stage and shining. However, Tracy's mother lacked self-confidence because of her obesity since she was a child. She often worried that obesity would be a stumbling block for Tracy. Unexpectedly, Tracy's outstanding performance in the show immediately opened up her future. Everyone even likes her more than Miss Amber (Brittany Snow), who was originally very favored. Although she was happy, Tracy ushered in a sharp turn in her career. On the one hand, in order to maintain his position, Amber did not hesitate to use despicable means to turn the tide, even seducing Tracy's father, causing discord in the family.
