Synopsis of Argo

On November 4, 1979, Iran's revolutionary army captured the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, Iran, and took the embassy staff hostage. More than 50 people were detained, but 6 escaped and were hiding in the home of Ken Taylor (Victor Garber), the Canadian ambassador to Iran. CIA executive Jack O'Donnell (Bryan Cranston) finds expert Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) and asks him to help bring those six people back to the United States. After discussion, the CIA decided to take Tony's approach. In the name of filming a movie, Tony went to Iran to bring those six people back. Tony contacted his friend in Hollywood, makeup artist John Chambers (played by John Goodman), and contacted film producer Lester (played by Alan Arkin). Tony selected "ARGO", one and "Star Wars" among many scripts...
