Synopsis of Suicide Room: The Hater
In a society grappling with its communist past and European present, both the cultural elite and disenfranchised young people see forces of darkness descending over Europe. Then there are those who benefit from the inevitable conflict and ensuing chaos, like frustrated law student Tomek (Maciej Musialovsky) who desperately tries to stir up a boycott of his childhood. The attention of her friend Gabby (Vanessa Alexander) and the respect of her progressive family. Tomek takes a job at a high-profile but ethical PR firm to impress Gabi. He was ordered to plot on social media and soon discovered he was adept at the dirty political game. But what he did came at a human cost. As Tomek gets sucked deeper into the situation, his humanity slowly drains away, and it becomes less clear what the end game is.
