Synopsis of BEATLESS

This is the story of farewell and coexistence between human beings and beings beyond human intelligence. A world where most of society is managed by humanoid robots called hIE. The 17-year-old boy, Rookie Endo, met a humanoid robot, Lecia, one day, and formed a master-slave contract with it. "That object", which looks exactly like a human, was born from ultra-high-performance AI with world-shaking performance. It is one of the five humanoid robots that surpass human intelligence and are "products that have not yet arrived at humankind". Each of the five machines has its own meaning, and they fight to gain the performance of the other. The adults who can only watch this battle, and the teenagers who approach this existence and try to establish new relationships.
