Synopsis of The Pixar Story
This documentary, which took six years to produce, focuses on the development history of animation giant Pixar. The film mainly takes the form of face-to-face interviews, and is also interspersed with some naughty short films created by Pixar, including Lasseter's student Oscar-winning short film. Various interviewees—from Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Billy Crystal to George Lucas and various Pixar animators—explained each film in as much detail as possible. The technical conditions required for a film to achieve specific artistic effects.
