Synopsis of dark ages

The wizard Merlin (Nicol Williamson) gave King Arthur (Nigel Terry) a magic sword. Before his death, King Arthur inserted the magic sword into the boulder. Make a will that if anyone can pull the Excalibur out of the stone, he will be eligible to become the King of England. Several years passed in the blink of an eye, and King Arthur's illegitimate son stood in front of the boulder. Naturally, he pulled out the Excalibur and inherited the throne, becoming the new generation of King Arthur.
