Synopsis of GOLD
Tappan Das is a manager of the Indian hockey team. He once led the British Indian team to win the gold medal at the 1936 Berlin Olympics, but he always dreamed of winning his own gold medal for independent India. As India neared independence, Tappan discovered news about the 1948 London Olympics. He lobbied to form an Indian hockey team for the upcoming Olympics, but the team was disbanded due to the division of India and Pakistan. Faced with many obstacles, can Tappan finally successfully form a team to represent the country in the battle of glory?
