Synopsis of Knights of Sidonia

Once upon a time, mysterious creatures called Kiju invaded the solar system, causing humanity to become homeless and wander in the vast universe aboard Sidonia, a giant spaceship the size of a planet. A long thousand years have passed like this, and now the residents of Sidnia have not encountered a strange creature for a hundred years. However, they have never relaxed their vigilance and trained generations of pilots of humanoid weapons "Guardians". One day, Tanikaze Nagamichi (voiced by Ryota Aisaka), a young man living underground, crawled to the surface due to hunger, stole rice and was caught. Later, under the instructions of the captain (voiced by Sayaka Ohara), he became the 628th Guardian pilot. As a trainee, here he met the kind-hearted girl Xing Baixian (voiced by Suzaki Aya), the friendly third-gender person Kotose Izana (voiced by Toyosaki Aki), and the arrogant and willful Kigami Utsuo (voiced by Sakurai Takahiro) and others. Not long after, the teenagers went out on a collection mission, and even encountered a strange man they hadn't seen in a century. The long-silent cosmic war has begun again... This film is adapted from the original comic book by Tsutomu Erpin.
