Synopsis of State of the Union

Before weekly marriage therapy sessions, estranged Tom (Chris O'Dowd) and Louise (Pike Rosamund Pike) will meet in the pub across the street to try to sort out the issues they will discuss with the therapist later. With the ten-minute "pre-meeting talk" in each episode, we will piece together step by step what the two were like in the past, and slowly understand what brought them together, and what brought them to where they are now. This short comedy series is written by the famous British writer and screenwriter Nick Hornby and directed by the famous director Stephen Frears.
