Synopsis of The Tale of Nokdu

"North Korean Romantic Comedy - The Legend of Nokdu" is a Korean drama broadcast on KBS2TV on September 30, 2019 (Mondays and Tuesdays). It is adapted from the popular online comic of the same name and directed by Kim Dong-hwi, the director of "The Road to the Third". Writer Lim Ye-jin of "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" and writer Baek So-yeon of "Kang Deok-soon's History of Love" are co-authors. This drama describes Jeon Nokdu (the male protagonist) who disguises himself as a woman and lurks in the mysterious widow's village, and Dong Dongzhu (the female protagonist), a girl who does not want to become a prostitute. After each has a secret and meets, an incredible romantic comedy unfolds.
