Synopsis of Watcher
The play is a psychological suspense drama that tells the story of a middle-aged investigator, an outsider within the police, who was once a bad lawyer for the prosecutor, and witnessed with his own eyes the tragic incident that happened 15 years ago when his father, a police officer, killed a young detective whose mother was killed. The three people involved in the murder case, the three men and women whose lives collapsed because of this incident, in the special environment of personal apology, reveal the true face of the secret organization within the police, and find the reason for their desperate survival. Kim Hyun-joo plays Han Tae-joo, a legendary secular lawyer. He was originally a prosecutor who rose to prominence, but he resigned after a robber broke into his family and was seriously injured. He temporarily went abroad to recuperate. After returning to China, he established a law firm specifically to serve wealthy criminals. Deliberately defending criminals, causing trouble, causing related people to turn against each other and kill each other. Xu Kangjun plays the role of the suspicious policeman Kim Young-jun. Possessing excellent observation skills to see into prisoners, full of courage, agility, and clever mind, and because of his "suspiciousness" that does not believe in anything, he met the supervisor and secular lawyer to form an illegal investigation team.
