Synopsis of Innocence

After her mother is killed in a surfing accident, 16-year-old Beckett moves to a new city with her novelist father in an effort to start over. Beckett entered an aristocratic school and met her first love. However, she also discovered that the girls in the school had made "suicide pacts" and several girls ended their lives shortly after she entered school. Behind the mysterious suicide, she discovered that the school was ruled by a group of young, beautiful, and seductive female ghosts. Their secret to eternal youth was to drink the blood of virgins. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name published by American writer Jane Mendelsohn in 2000. It landed at the Austin Film Festival last year and was released in North America on August 29 this year.
