Synopsis of Foxcatcher

Mark (Channing Tatum) is a professional wrestler. He also had brilliant victories in his past career. However, now, all the light has dissipated, and he is just a mediocre person. A nobody who does nothing. Mark's brother David (Mark Ruffalo) is also a wrestler. The two brothers have a very good relationship with each other. However, Mark understands that David has his own family and career, but he only has wrestling. One day, Mark was unexpectedly invited by a mysterious wealthy businessman named John (played by Steve Carell). He hoped that Mark could become a member of the wrestling team he formed. In John's wrestling team, Mark found his own value, and he became John's only friend. However, as time passed, when David also joined the wrestling team, everything began to change. This film is adapted from a true story.
